As this school year comes to a close, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for letting me be part of this incredible community.
Being a Dragon has truly meant the world to me. Bowie is such a special place, and that’s because of all of you: our amazing students, supportive families, and the strong sense of community that makes this school feel like home. I’ve loved getting to know your children, celebrating their successes, and watching them grow into confident, kind, and hard-working individuals.
To our students: you are the heart of Bowie. I am so proud of you every single day. The way you learn, lead, and take care of one another is what makes this campus so special. Never forget how amazing you are! Keep your spark and remember that I love you very much.
To our families: thank you for your trust, your support, and everything you do to partner with us. It truly takes all of us working together, and Bowie shines because of that.
While it’s hard to say goodbye, I am so excited for the future of Bowie because you are in incredible hands. Mrs. Garcia is going to be a fantastic principal. She brings a heart for kids, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to this community, and I know she will continue to help Bowie grow and thrive. I couldn’t be more confident in the direction the campus is headed.
Bowie will always be a part of me, and I will always be proud to call myself a Dragon. Thank you for the memories, the relationships, and the joy you have brought into my life.
